” Kaitsauka® @kaitsaukaofficial has entered the remix competition organised by 29Music Paris @29musicparis & Kuroneko @kuronekomedia to celebrate the 5th anniversary of @jayjayjohanson Jay-Jay Johanson‘s album ‘Kings Cross’ with @aidanamore Aidan Amore‘s submission of a dancy multi-layered rework of the minimalist hit ‘Heard Somebody Whistle’.

Whether or not the track is chosen for release by the end of July, we hope the bold artistic stance of our remix has sought to offer a singular reinterpretation by distancing ourselves from the stripped-down original, all the while honouring it by remaining informed with Jay-Jay Johanson’s insights into the trip-hop tradition we were lucky to gather through the course of the performative masterclass organised by Diane Pernet @asvof and moderated by Herman David @herman_david during 
the 15th edition of @asvoff_official .”
